5th October 2018
St. Patrick’s Senior School will be running the Copper Trail to raise much needed funds for the school. This involves the children collecting 1c, 2c, 5c and 10c coins. The children will deposit the coins into jars in their classroom.
The copper trail will run for 4 weeks starting Monday 8th October and ending Friday 9th November 2018. There will be a prize for each class level which collects the most copper. We see this as an opportunity, not only to raise money, but also as a fun activity for the children. So please dig deep.
If any of the parents wish to bring a jar into their work place to try and raise funds for the copper trail, please let us know and we will provide you with a jar and a letter for management if needed.
Well done to the girls’ Gaelic team on winning their quarter final against Holy Trinity, Glencairn last Wed. The girls played brilliantly and won by 5 -4 to 1-1.
